Guidance set forth by the Illinois Department of Public Health, has determined basketball can be played at Level 2 in Illinois.  Level 2 allows for intra-team scrimmages with parental consent. Team scrimmages can be organized for groups of 25 players or less.

Season Details:

• Tryouts: Tryouts will be held from August 28th-September 2nd

• Season Dates: September 7th - November 1st 

• How teams will be structured:
  • Teams will be created with up to 25 players.
  • These teams will be selected based off of grade and skill level. 
  • Teams will have 2-3 coaches 

• Practice & Skills: 1 team practice & 1 skills practice weekly
  • Practice and skill time will be between 4:00-9:00 during the week. Practice and skill class will be same each week.  Players need to enroll in one of the skills classes that are available and cannot switch days.  There will also be a skills evaluation to determine the right skill class that will be best for players development.

• Games & Scrimmages (Currently at Level 2)
  • Team game play will be determined by what risk Level the IDPH determines the state is at.  
  • Players will play in 12-15 games/scrimmages.  Games will be played on Saturdays and/ or Sundays.
  • Level 2: Weekend scrimmages -  teams of 25 will be split into teams to make scrimmages as competitive as possible.
  • Level 3:  If IDPH moves IL to Level 3 and we can start doing IL tournaments. Teams within the group of 25 will be split into 2-3 teams and be entered into local tournaments instead doing intra-team scrimmages.

• Cost: $800 + $125 Uniform Fee
